Resveratrol Supplements – Their Many Health Benefits!

Supplements are now popping up like mushrooms calling themselves the “miracle” drug, each claiming that they have what it takes to befit that name. But if there is a preparation worth that title, then it has to be the resveratrol supplements.

Resveratrol Supplements are unlike any other supplement out in the market to date, none has ever surpassed the potency and the vast number of health benefits one can derive from resveratrol.

Anti-cancer. You need not worry about some types of cancer no more. Those rapidly multiplying mutant cells will no longer be a lump in the throat, or the skin, or the stomach and intestines—these are the most common types of cancer that resveratrol can reduce in size by direct contact. Although, other cancers that cannot be in direct reach of resveratrol can not be treated due to its limited systemic bio-availability.

Alzheimer’s Disease. Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases occur in old age due to the changes that happen in the human brain. However, with the use of Resveratrol Supplements, the beta amyloid plaque that causes such a demented disease can be prevented. Astonishing changes in the clinically induced plaques in laboratory models prove that this can play a significant role in preventing this disease. A possible explanation the researchers offered is the chelating property of the substance.

Arthritis. Inflammatory diseases like arthritis can also be prevented by the induction of resveratrol. This works by coating the cartilages with a protective covering which prevents the progress of the disease, which is what arthritis is. By doing so, this prevents the inflammation, redness and pain that accompany this disease. As for the inflammation per se, researchers have found out that the acute and chronic phases are being inhibited with the administration of resveratrol.

Hypoglycemic. This term is defined as having insufficient glucose available for use by the cells of the body, or having the ability to induce hypoglycemia—like the drugs taken by people with diabetes. It has been found out by scientists that resveratrol can mobilize the glucose in the body to make them readily available for consumption by the cells. This is what makes the consumers of the supplement feel more alive, active and alert than they were before taking the preparation.

Cardiovascular Health. Resveratrol also possesses properties that promote cardiovascular health. These properties help in preventing diseases like atherosclerosis, heart diseases and even decrease the blood pressure. One reason is due to the stimulation of the production of nitric oxide by endothelial cells of the vessels. This keeps the veins in a dilated state making the blood flow much easier for the entire stream.

Weight Loss. Since a risk factor of cardiovascular diseases and even some forms of cancer is obesity, the incorporation of resveratrol in your lifestyle can do you much good. Whether you’re a big guy scared of the diseases that shadow your weight or a vain person just wanting to shed a few pounds, resveratrol will be more than enough to do the trick. It works by increasing the metabolism of the body, consuming the energy available and even those that are stored.

Anti-Aging and Increased Life Expectancy. With the use of resveratrol, the cells of the body lengthen their life span for up to 70%. Even with the wear-and-tear effect of old age, the cells are able to regenerate and multiply much faster than they are dying since those that are still alive will still be there—almost double the time they should be. This makes you looking young on the outside while a busy restoration project is on going on the inside—all you’ll need is a sign that says “Construction Going On.”

Good day, I am jolly excited about this article. I have a couple questions though. I am sure you will be able to help me out.

I couldn’t find any references on your page to the claims made in the article. The cancer claims are ones I am particularly interested in as the only references I can find from the Cancer Institure talk about lab experiments. I am sure you have better human studies that I could read. You probably want to put them up somewhere on your site as there are so called “skeptics” out there that will try and bash your claims otherwise.

I am also interested in what you mean by “limited systemic bio-availability.” It seems that if it is able to get to the skin cancers then it must have a fairly decent “systemic bio-availability”… Perhaps I am getting the wrong end of the stick though. Do you bath in it? In which case does it stain the skin? I don’t want cancer but I don’t want to be purple either!

I have other questions as well but these are the ones that jumped out at me for now! Hope to hear from you soon.

    Happy Man!

  2. I have suffered with bad breath for about 5 years now. I spent a small fortune on bad breath cures. Nothing I tried seem to work even as it said it would. I read this site and think it is useful and gives me something to think about. In any case it is always helpful to just to have people writing about it. Thanks, Kathy Jones. NJ.

  3. There really are tons of crazy supplements out there. Is reservatrol good?

  4. Resveratrol is a great supplement for longevity, weight loss, energy, and a whole bunch of other reasons… the best way to see if a supplement is good for yourself is to simply try it out for yourself.
